1960 Chevrolet Impala. This 1960 Chevy Impala caught the eye of the Artist as it was parked at a Pontiac Show in the Summer of 2021. The backend looked like wings and the Artist could imagine flying down a country road in it on a sunny day.
Inspiration: Car collector and enthusiast. Inspired by David Hockney’s colorful landscapes, Van Gough’s brushstroke and color, Erin Hansen color and brushstroke.
Process: The artist is a frequent car shows and national parks. She frequently travels with her camera and sketch pad in tow seeking inspiration both near and far. Once inspired she uses technology to get further inspiration from the field photos and sketches.
