This painting of a 1960 Plymouth Fury Convertible as presented at a car show in Maryland. The abstract landscape features deep teal, greens, and blues. The artist previously owned a Mopar convertible of a later vintage in the same colors but found the fins on the Fury fin to be incredibly bold. The artist was moved by the shark-like fins of the 60 Fury and this inspired aquatic feel of the pieces’ abstract background.
