Vian Borchert

Vian Borchert is an established expressionist artist and an award winning poet. Borchert has exhibited extensively in exhibitions within the US and internationally. Vian is a graduate and “Notable Alumni” from the Corcoran College of Art & Design George Washington University, Washington, DC. Borchert exhibits in museums and key galleries in major cities such as NYC, LA, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, London, Berlin. Borchert had her artwork exhibited in prestigious venues like The SAM Museum, Times Square – Broadway Plaza, United Nations Lobby Gallery in NYC, Art Basel Miami Beach, 1stDibs Design Center in Chelsea, NYC. Her artwork is also in embassies and in private collections worldwide.

Borchert’s art has been vastly featured in press like MOEVIR Paris Fashion & Art Magazine, ARTPIL, Collect Art magazine, The Washington Post, Modern Renaissance Magazine, Influential People magazine, Metro Weekly magazine, Élan magazine, and Vie magazine. Borchert’s artwork has been on front covers of literary journals such as “PENSIVE” an acclaimed global journal from Northeastern University in Boston, and “Passengers Journal” literary publication based in NYC, Borchert is an art educator in the DMV area teaching fine art classes to adults in painting and drawing at Glen Echo Park’s Yellow Barn Studio. Borchert has been a juror for a number of group art shows in the DMV area in venues such as Brookside Gardens. Vian has extensive knowledge in art history, and has worked in world-class museums such as the National Gallery of Fine Arts in DC and the The Phillips Collection museum in DC. Borchert is also a certified art therapy coach and has a Web Masters degree.
