May Britton

May Britton was born in Honolulu and raised in Arlington, Virginia. Before devoting all of her professional time to making and exhibiting artwork, she was a construction company marketing director. Since 2000, her figurative and abstract sculptures and site-specific installations have been exhibited and collected in public and private collections in the US and abroad. She taught university courses in sculpture and three-dimensional design, and art classes to pre and elementary school-aged children. As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500), yogic philosophy and teachings continue to influence her life and approach to making art.
