Margarita Ado

Margarita Ado (Adomavičienė) was born in 1976 in Panevėžys, Lithuania and grew up in the engineers’ family, fond of the arts and nature. Margarita had the opportunity to see the latest performances and art exhibitions of that time, and the family traveled a lot. Margarita has always been fascinated by artworks, painting and the way how the world is portrayed by others. In 1994 she graduated from Panevėžys Art School. In 2000 m. she obtained the qualification of a Qualified Engineer of Information Technology at the Kaunas University of Technology. In 2011 she obtained the Bachelor degree in energy at Kaunas Technical College.After she created her own family and gave birth to her two children, Margarita Ado distanced herself from art for some time, but she could not find peace due to her unfulfilled wishes, visions and dreams have not been peaceful, so she started painting again in 2014. Margarita Ado is an independent artist of Lithuania, who has organised 2 personal exhibitions. She paints, photographs, uses recyclable metal waste for her works. The works are dominated by natural motifs, symbols and surrounding objects. It is essential for the artist to express her moods, emotions, relating to the family and the surrounding environment, nature. There are a lot of work on cities that, like all of us, have own inner worlds, own spiritual life.​The artist paints with acrylic paints on canvas, her works are bright and shy at the same time. Traveling has a significant influence on her work – Margarita visited Asia, Cuba, many European countries. Now she lives and creates in Kaunas, Lithuania.
