Jeanette was born into a family of artists. She began painting in the back of her mother’s studio around the time she started walking. As a young teenager, her parents arranged for her to study oils under a Sicilian relative. Later in college, Jeanette studied 2D and 3D art principles and was recognized repeatedly with her college’s top awards and honors for both sculptures and paintings. After college, Jeanette followed her passions in art: teaching, painting murals and theater works, as well as selling through galleries such as the Paul Brent Gallery in Destin Florida and various retail locations.
In her late 30s, Jeanette stepped temporarily away from art to pursue a business degree and become a CPA. However, the call to move to Italy put her squarely back in an emerging and vibrant art scene in Northeast Italy. Jeanette paints daily the beautiful vistas throughout Northeast Italy, and participates and show her work through Felice Arte.
