Every single Kyo Gallery mat and frame is custom built locally by our partner right here in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.

With over 20 years of experience, old school methods combined with current tech, we’re proud to offer discounted matting and framing for all of our artwork on paper, limited editions, and even box framing for our beautiful mixed media, collage, or 3-D art.

We use premium conservation wood and delivery-safe plexiglass, and every single piece is assembled and inspected by our team before shipment.

All matting and framing is done locally, so for all orders placed, please allow an additional five (5) business days for your artwork to arrive.

Unless delivered damaged, we cannot accept returns on any art that has framing and matting options added to the order.

All matting is acid-free, white, and the mat size will add 3.25 inches on all sides of your art in most cases.

All three framing color options will add 1.75 inches to all sides and 0.75 inches depth in most cases. Special box frames will add 1.5 inches depth.

Only Premium Clear Acrylic Glazing is used to protect your art. It is shatter resistant and lightweight. The thickness added is 0.118 inches.
