The Alliance is a coalition of arts organizations, artists and arts advocates that works to advance the arts in Alexandria through collaboration, advocacy, education and marketing.

Kyo Gallery is proud to support the Virginia German Shepherd Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of the German Shepherd Dog.

They provide a safe haven for German Shepherds who are left in shelters to await uncertain fate, surrendered by owners, or those who are victims of abuse or neglect. Since their inception in 2001, 3000 dogs have found their permanent and loving home.
